The menu at cafe & deli cook is a delightful tapestry of Italian-inspired dishes and innovative beverages that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. Guests rave about the homemade lemonade, a refreshing concoction that perfectly balances sweetness and tartness, crafting a quenching experience ideal for any time of year. Pasta lovers will find joy in their fresh pasta offerings—one patron, Marco, proclaims it the best he's ever had, even better than his travels in Italy!

For those with a sweet tooth, the cafe boasts a selection of gourmet sweets that are nothing short of top-shelf, featuring a variety of unusual drinks like vinegar syrups and ginger infusions that create a symphony of flavors. Ugo Poifol recommends the high-quality lunch sets, which cleverly combine gourmet elements in manageable portions while keeping prices surprisingly affordable. Cafe & deli cook is not just about the food; it’s an experience. Take, for instance, the unique drinks, highlighted by Alex R.'s mention of the vinegar-based fruit beverages—a truly acquired taste that might intrigue adventurous palates. The cafe's inventive milk drinks, such as the caramel banana milk, have also caught the attention of patrons like Kimberly Dalton, who highlights the creativity present in every item on the menu, from delightful caprese to steamed mussels, dessert bruschetta, and their impressive banana gateau chocolat.

While you're there, be mindful of the cozy layout—Thomas H. humorously warns of the steep stairs leading to the second floor, a small adventure itself that only adds to the charm of this hidden treasure. The set lunch provides fantastic value for the quality offered, making it a must-try for anyone looking to indulge without overspending.

Whether you’re a local or visiting Tokyo, cafe & deli cook is a must-visit destination that promises not only delicious food but an experience filled with warmth and creativity. It’s truly a culinary delight that won’t disappoint!

Great food & drinks. We loved the homemade lemonade and the pasta was some of the best we ever had. Even better than in Italy! Very kind staff too

Great place. Sweets are top-shelf, with a variety of unusual drinks (vinegar syrups, ginger drinks). Lunches are high-quality, small portions but gourmet food with low prices.

Cosy little restaurant with warm and welcoming staff. Mind your footing when you go up to the 2nd floor, as the stairs are very steep and narrow! The set-lunch offers fantastic value.

The rustic interiors are charming, and the vinegar based fruit drinks are quite unique, albeit perhaps a somewhat acquired taste.

I stumbled onto this tiny cafe and it was sooo cute. The fresh pasta is very cheap and the milk drinks, like caramel banana milk, were inventive and delicious. They also had a caprese for 320 yen, steamed mussels, dessert bruschetta, cous cous and banana gateau chocolat. Highly recommended.

My favorite cafe in this area. Delicious and healthy food all made by the owner. Lunch set is only 870yen, with one main dish (meat deli with rice or choice of pasta) and one side dish and one soft drink. Dinner is about 1100yen but gets two side dishes. If you want to add a dessert, cheesecakes here taste really good. The store only has 13 seats so please expect wait on weekend lunch time.

Although I was initially disappointed by learning of their “no laptops” rule after I sat down (I was planning on doing some work), I was blown away by their pasta. I got the lunch set, with drink, your choice of appetizer l, and main (I did coffee, pickled fish, and mini tomato and mozzarella pasta), all for 920. The pasta is some of the best I’ve ever had. The portion is small, and I regret not paying the 200 yen for a large. One small complaint is that they don’t pay for their internet radio, and so annoying ads play every couple minutes.
